18" x 18" Original Oil On Linen. Price: $2,500.00
Every fall all members of the deer family go through the metamorphosis of shedding the soft nourishing velvet that covered the growing antlers. For the barren ground caribou this occurs just as the tundra foliage turns to it's spectacular colors in late August and early September. As soon as this bull finishes shedding his velvet he will continue to spar with brush and other bulls, strengthening his neck and body and preparing for the battles the coming breeding season will bring.
The painting is a 18" x 18" original oil on linen. The framed dimensions are approximately 26" x 26". Price: $2,850.00
